Description
Aeldra was a hero. Like Hercules and Achillies. Songs would be sung for her, feasts dedicated to her name, children named for her. She would be remembered as a great, like many other heroes. Like all heroes, she laid her life down for the greater again and again. She led her people with grace and poise and she would never, ever give up. And like all heroes, she had her fatal flaw. She missed the war too much. The blood, the gore, the adrenaline, the magic coursing through her, she missed it. Allie was never meant to be a normal girl. She never fit in her average life even when it wasn't quite so average. She had been meant to wage wars since she was born. To lead armies and command magic. She was meant for the adrenaline, the blood, the pain. And without she has no purpose. The line between hero and villain becomes blurred far too easily and Allie is losing herself. Her morals are crumbling right along with her mind. She's tumbling into an abyss that she may never be able to escape from.
