When Bijou moves to the Alola region, she enrolls in the Pokémon School. During the year, she meets new friends, Lillie, a nice girl who was afraid of pokemon battling, Hau, the grandson of Hala, the kahuna of Melemele Island, Obsidian, a boy from Johto who almost knows everything about pokemon. Peridot, a beauty queen with a huge ego, and is the daughter of Olivia, the kahuna of Akala Island, Esme, a girl from Kanto with a legend for a dad, Calliope, a girl who wants to be a pokemon trainer instead of a nurse like her mother, Nurse Joy, Diamond, Peridot's adopted twin sister, Opal, Wicke's daughter who spent the last few months in Ultra Space avoiding Necrozma, Malachite, another child from Sinnoh who's very shy.
