The night glistened with yet another bolt of lighting, and the thunderstorm grew violent, and Amelia just came out of yet another hotel, disappointed and famished with hunger. All booked, it said. How could she forget to reserve a room for herself she thought? So stupid of her, not even to carry an umbrella. But the place she came from was full of sunlight and cool breezes. How could she even imagine such a contrast in weather just a few hundred kilometres away? She was out of town for the promotion of her new clothing brand, and being the senior superior at the firm, she had to look upon the settlement of the business herself. Who knew she would get struck in such a violent weather with no where to go? Amelia stood in the driveway, clutching herself harder and harder, as the cold grew, and she realised that she hadn't even packed a single cardigan, and was just wearing a pink sundress, which was half wet by now. There was no one in town that she knew, not even a single soul... or wait a minute. Wasn't Gabriel living in the same town?
