Keri Valenti has always felt out of place in her musical Italian family. She is shy, awkward, a little quirky, and doesn't know have any musical talent- unlike her brother and sister. When her father entrusts her to run her family's music shop for a month while they are vacationing in Italy, he hires some extra help- Trevor Forsythe- a blind, eccentric handyman and musician with a big personality and an intriguing story of his own. As they get to know each other and begin to fall in love, an unfortunate event occurs that challenges their already-challenging relationship.
