Mekhi Donovan is not your average teenager. He's been arrested three times, stole from his father- who moved away when he was a baby-, and has gotten kicked out of school since he was thirteen. Never returned. He's now sixteen, living with his single mother, and couldn't feel more trapped in his house. It's not like he chooses to stay inside all day, he pretty much has too. After being diagnosed by a doctor, Mekhi has a high rate of anger issues, aggressiveness towards others. When angered, Mekhi tries to destroy everything in his path, also having mental breakdowns. His mother and doctor suggest not to interact with others even though he doesn't have much of a choice. Every friend Mekhi had, no longer talks with him after what happened in seventh grade. The only friend he can count on is his friend Keto who only lives a block away. Then Iris moves in next door, and that changes everything.
