Join the world of the Winged knight, Anselm; one of the last few winged knights left. Ash that broke sacred vows in the Cathedral of the Deep to save a young saint named Celena who becomes an unlikely of partners in a dying world of Embers. This story introduces our heroins of the story, and one of the beginning adventures of the duo.
