Chapter 1- "I'm just a phone call or text away."

Ally is a simple girl who doesn't ask for much in life, but her dad has recently left her and her mom to help people battling in a war that she doesn't know about; she doesn't even know where her dad is stationed. All she wants is for her dad to be home for Christmas, nothing else. While she knows there are people there for her, none of them are her dad. Will her dad make it home for Christmas? Or will Ally have to celebrate without her dad this year?
