Tessa Burden is a sixteen year old girl, moving from Dallas to Tulsa. Once she gets to Tulsa, she has her eyes set on a pretty handsome boy named, Sodapop Curtis. She lives on the West side of town but isn't mixed up with the Socs. But sooner or later, she might find herself becoming a greaser, so she can be with Sodapop.
