This is my whole world. My nurse, my mom, my sickness. I'm 18 and I've never been outside. If I did. . . I would probably die.

Hi, I'm Lily. Lily probably sounds like a normal name given to a normal girl. A girl that goes to the mall with her friends on the weekend, goes to parties, is popular? Well that's not me. I'm not normal. I deal with severe combined immunodeficiency, or for short SCID. That means I'm allergic to any and everything. I've never been outside. My whole life I've been blocked from the outside world by a thick layer of glass. But that changed when he came. All it took was one smile.
