You stand there watching me suffer and do nothing about it. It's lunch and I am sitting here, waiting for you to sit next to me like you always do but you're sitting there with her. Smiling. Laughing. And I am here. Crying. Dying. I want you to be happy but it's nice to know you care about your best friend.

This "story" is told through letters written to people known only by Mister. Alice is a girl in high school and she had just lost her mother. Her father thinks he owns the world as he pushes her around. She writes her letters about her depression, self harm, and pain she suffers through everyday.
