Prologue

When he brought me to his hotel room in 1985, I meant nothing to him other than as a temporary distraction from the monotony of the road. When he comes back into my life in 1988 , lured from his extravagant life to this quaint island in Puget Sound, he comes seeking the truth about our brief encounter and maybe something far more significant.
