Description
I was alone. Completely broke and fucking pregnant. My husband threw me out of our house on the night he decide to bring his scandal home. He dragged me out of our house, and threw a set of divorce papers on my face. But that wasn't enough. Apparently, for Fate, that fucked up scene wasn't already enough for my fucked up self. I was crying. Scratch that, I was sobbing hysterically, while my hands rubbed on my prodding belly to soothe my baby down. Sitting at the bench they provided at the bus stop, I tried to soothe myself but failed miserably. A set of lights were shone my way, with my palm shielding it from the harshness of the lights, it was a grey mercedes. The back door opened. A figure went out of the door smoothly, and shut the door back. Sweet baby Jesus. Isn't he - "I don't think it's good for a pregnant woman to be here." His thick, deep and husky voice boomed through my ears, sending sparks and igniting the flame from me. He walk towards me, buttoning his suit jacket. "Let's get you somewhere safe." Holy shit. "I'm Noah Woods," he quickly introduced himself, when he saw fear through my eyes. "I'm the CEO of Woods and Co. if you don't know?" Oh, but I do. He's Noah Woods, and he's my boss. He was my boss. The boss who fired me because I poured coffee all over him about a year ago. Well, wasn't this just as sweet as what Fate would do? Twisting the shit out of it. * * * Aaaand, drop the mic! Hi, do check out my first book and give it a chance. love, sarah ;-)
