I sit up in bed next to him and watch as he breathes, "You'll never know how much I love you." I whisper breathlessly. His back goes up and down as the blanket lays over his naked body.

I stand up and pull out some clean clothes and slip them on.

Wake up right now and I won't go. I repeat to myself in my head.

I walk into the kitchen and begin to scribble down the words flooding my heart.
