"As I hold her in my arms I notice she is barely breathing. Her cuts and bruises are staining my hands with blood as I pull a hairstring from her swollen face and check for her pulse. "Stay with me" I whisper, as I lift her up and carry her out of the damp, stinking basement." Red Rogan is a well-known name in the underground buisseness of central Los Angeles. He and his small crew runs a local garage and pub that let's their black money turn white as snow. One night a buisseness meeting with new contacts goes terribly wrong and as the situation degenerates, Red finds a young woman severely beaten up in the gangs basement. She must be a very important asset to someone to have to stand an assault like that, but as she wakes up, she refuses to say anything. Who is this young girl? Will Red finally get her to spill the information she so desperately holds on to? - This is my first ever story written in English since it's not my first language.
