Kat is the older sister of Keith Kogane. Kat joined the Galaxy Garrison a few years before her brother. After a couple of months she was the medical researcher for the Kerberos mission with Dr. Samuel Holt and his son, Matt Holt, and Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane. While on the mission they where abducted by aliens.
