Author's note

I run up to my room smiling for the first time in 6 years. I cant believe the alpha is my mate! No one will be able to hurt me anymore. I open the door and close it shut, sliding down it. I squeal and the next thing i know, i feel an excrutiating pain erupt at my toes. It travels up my body slowly, like a snake getting ready to aproach its prey. A scream arises in my throat, but i cant let it out. Black dots approach my vision. I look up at the ceiling and let the tears escape. The burning gets to my chest and i feel my heart burn. I let out a whimper. Before the blackness consumes me whole, i let out a blood-curtling scream. Then everything fades to darkness.
