It's been a year and 8 months since August and Malenda saw one another. The last time they spoke, things that didn't need to be said were said which brought on the end of their relationship. Now an upcoming artist, August has made a name for himself while touching the lives of other people with his story. He's been doing great; moving to Atlanta was the best decision he's ever made. But was leaving a broken hearted Malenda behind worth it?

Malenda has been keeping a low profile: doing anything to not be seen by August or anyone who knows him. The only people she deals with are Mama Alsina and Chandra but only if they will keep her secret from August.
