Description
As you grow up, you learn life isn't going to be easy. It's not going to be offered to you, not going to make you smile all the time. Every day will be something to earn, a struggle not a right. It'll fracture something inside you, change you irreversibly. Force you to grow, to become stronger. An unstable balance of emotions you don't know how to keep in check. You're going to realise what's important- not what they teach us in school, but all those other things that convince you to get out of bed in the morning. And at some point you're going to think 'why bother?'. You're going to hurt and cry and be angry at all the suffering you see and feel. I can't tell you to keep going, I can't promise a better tomorrow- I can't do anything to convince you that the pain is worth it. All I can tell you for certain is that life is going to fracture you, and that fracture will stay for the rest of your days.
