Authors Note

Everyone has a reaper. They're like snowflakes- nobody's looks the same, they say, but it's impossible to know, because you can only see your own. The further away it is from you, the longer you have to live. Apart from that, only a little is known about them. Its hard to study something you can never touch. Each day, it gets a little closer, but it is always there.

Except for mine, which disappeared a week and a half ago.
