With the somewhat exception of her spunky, outrageous best friend Violet, Ash has kept a quiet life. At least that's what she wants the people closest to her to believe. Ash has a secret, one that's she's starting to become more remorseful and ashamed of as the days go on. Her secret has a name and is slowly turning into what used to be her happiness- a nightmare. One particularly coincidental -and painful- day for Ash turns into something she can't figure out how to label other than a twisted act of fate. Aidan Hems left Ash's life when they were both only small children who loved making mud pies and telling innocent lies.
