Marina Connor, a girl with ADHD, dyslexia, and lives by herself with her single mother. Until one day, a mysterious boy who looked like death himself, in some 14 year old boy form, saves her from an eagle that flew down from the sky just to attack her. After they get back to the house, her mother explains everything to her.
