Prologue

Alexandra Zazra is a HalfBlood, a now rare breed of people who have the qualities of predator animals. After a war that ended the old one and the rise of tyrannical dictatorship, her people are slaughtered and forced with the blame, and her family is forced into hiding. After an accident that leaves her a blank slate and incapable of walking, she stumbles through recovery trying to piece together her past and how the dangers that lurk there will affect her future.
