Chapter one: Not So Lonly After All?

Beauty is a curse. Or at least that's what Opal Truehert thinks. Most people feel belittled by her beauty and even tease her about it to make themselves feel better. For that reason Opal has a hard time making friends. Opal used to believe in happily ever after and true love but she is scared that any boy that she dates will be like the first (and only) boy she dated and use her for her looks. Maybe a new school and a change of scenery will change that?
