Description and Disclaimer

Keagan Jean Parker was the girl that always hid on the sidelines. Watching everyone else live life, but never really living herself. Since she was born, she was different from everyone else. She had an ability that was passed down in her family; an ability that was more like a curse. Every mark on her body told a story; for not only her, but for others as well. Keagan had many mental disorders that only got worse as she got older. Keagan is now 17 and in her Senior year of high school. She only has two friends and they are technically family, because she can't get close to anyone else; at least not without giving them scars.

Dakota Ocean Spencer. The girl who was tough on the outside, but soft on the inside. Always caring for others no matter how much they might have hurt her. She might not always look or act the most caring, but that's only because of her short temper that some people like to push too far. She has a bad past with her own family, and she doesn't want to hurt others like she's been hurt. She's used to it. She's used to hurting, but she hates seeing others hurt. She has a small group of friends; they may not be the best of people at times, but she loves them never the less. Dakota is a Senior in high school and is actually 18. She got held back a year because of all the family issues she had, she stopped going during her Sophomore year. She's living a happy life on the outside, but on the inside has a constant cloud of darkness hanging over her. She's never had anyone that could make it better.

What happens when Keagan ends up bumping into Dakota and knows she's become to close to her? How will Keagan stop herself from showing who she really is? When these two girls end up meeting, their world are turned upside down. Keagan can't hurt Dakota the way she knows she will, but Dakota just can't keep this mysterious girl off her mind. What happens when their skin begins to tell their story?
