Chapter 1.

Brooke has always kept to herself, she is different from the other girls and guys at her school. Being different takes a toll on her though, she's bullied everyday, for being her own person, part of the reason why she hates going to school everyday, part of the reason why she hates waking up everyday. The names, the comments, the pain, it all sticks in her head, leading her to believe them, leading her to believe that being herself is the wrong thing to be, she hates herself. But a lot of things change when she meets Alex. Could she have actually met someone that appreciates her for who she is? A true friend? Or is it all in her head?
