Prologue

My heart skipped a beat as I saw Elijah leaning in. He raised his hands and held my face. Oh shit.

"Don't kiss me," I whispered to him, later realizing that won't stop him.

I saw him a smirk right before his lips fell on mine. Everyone cheered and clapped and my heart was beating really fast.
