Kamui and Azura have vanished, Leo is king of Nohr and his son Forrest is crown prince, Siegbert being still too young after being taken out of his Deeprealm. Forrest feels pressured to take the throne once he is older, not to mention inherit Brynhildr. Leo disapproves of the way he dresses, and while Forrest clearly sees he doesn't deserve him, his mother is dead leaving him without much parental compassion. One day, he decides to ride outside the castle grounds to clear his head.
