When Jeremy Heere and his father move to a new part of New Jersey, due to Jeremy's father meeting a new woman named Heidi Hansen, they believe that it will be a fresh start for them. Michael even tags along with his family, making matters even better. Michael and Jeremy hope that this will make everything normal again; no more squips, and no more of the school and town that held so many rained memories of hurt, loss, and forgiveness.

But will it really be as good as they think?
