Chapter 1

Hanna is washed up on the bank of a river far from her homeland. Lord Ja-raal recognises her as the daughter of a tyrinical Lord in the northern realms. Unwilling to send her back to such a place he takes her under his protection.

All is not as it seems however, as both Hanna and Ja-raal have secrets. With her father looking for her, threatening to force her into a brutal marriage, she is forced to trust a creature that has haunted her dreams.
