Rachel Gun is perfection personified. From her perfect grades to her perfect hair, she feels like she's completely in control of everything in her life, but when Phillips Academy kicks her out Rachel seems less than upset.
She returns to her home in California with her father and doesn't contest the decision in any way.
Two years later when a man named Kelly Hill shows up it seems that Rachel will be forced to come to terms with what really happened at Phillips Academy all those years ago.
Finally, when a body is discovered on the lacrosse field, Rachel knows that its time to return to Phillips. There's no going back and there's no running away.
