Chapter 1

The edges of my vision slowly become black. I felt like my lungs were collapsing as my coughs shook my body making the room spin. I took one more steps only to miss it. My hand reached out initially to stop me from falling only to touch the burning railing. I pulled back disoriented the room spin harder making me fall down the stairs. The blackness took over my vision.

"Mom...dad," I said over the ringing in my ears.
