The aggressive push that was given, caused me to stumble on the ground.

I mentally cursed myself, scraping my leg against tiny rocks, but I kept my head down.

"Might as well just kill me. What do you want, Daniel?" I panted, struggling to take in air.

I refused to meet the smirk of the devious, and clever, lost boy, anger flooding my whole body.

He kneeled down, tilting my head to meet his eyes.

Shaking my head away from his fingertips, he laughed.

"You see, it was lonely in the tunnels."
