Prologue

You know when they say that, "one night can change your life forever."? They're not wrong.
Something happened to me. Something I had no control over, or maybe I did, and just didn't know it at the time.
Now something is happening again, and once again I don't think I have any control over it. I can feel how it changes me gradually, but I don't know what to do about it, or if I even want to.
All I know is that when I look into those big green eyes, things start to feel right again.
