Aurora lost her memory when she was only a small toddler, and the people who took her in convinced her that her parents were scientists that couldn't go home. So she grew up with a family that cared for her as much as she did for them.

All while her powers were slowly returning without her knowledge.

Once she goes through the first successful portal to another realm and realizes things are not what they appear to be.

Then she realizes why she was so powerful.

Why she was never supposed to exist in the real timeline.
