Crossing Lines {NaNoWriMo '17}

"I wanted you to marry me then, and I still want you to marry me now."

"Stephen, I-I can't marry you. You know that."

He took a step forward closing the gap between us and I felt the warmth of his palms on my cheeks. I closed my eyes enjoying how his hands on me felt more than I should have. "Stephen, please, don't do this."

As always, he didn't listen.
