She's almost made it through her whole schooling without anyone noticing her illiteracy. That is until someone does notice. His name's Goodwin Balanchine. At first he found her illiteracy humorous, but when he realized the extensity and seriousness he decided to take things into his hands and to teach her how to read. Of course stubborn Nelle resisted at first, but in the end without even knowing or realizing it she warmed up to Win and found that he really was teaching her.
