a promise like a prophecy, fufilled after heartbreak

Kurapika had just been expecting it to go as it always does, he approaches the location without being caught, he snatches what's rightfully his, and he gets out of there before he's noticed so can proceed with giving his kin a proper burial and funeral.
The thing is, someone else beat him to it. And he can't say he regrets it.
