Prologue

This is set in an AU where the Uchiha Massacre never happened. Kushina and Minato Namikaze didn't die, but both she and Naruto share the Ninetails.

Kushina adopts her nice, a young girl by the name of Kara Uzumaki. Kara is a prodigy of sorts. She's extremely skilled in medical, sealing, and complicated ninjutsu. But her past, and why she lives with her aunt and cousin? Well, you'll figure it out.

Kara is the pride of the Uzumaki clan. But she still wants to be a Kohana ninja. How will Naruto and Kara get along? Can Kara keep her cousin out of trouble, or will he drag her in with him?
