Hayden Barnes is a sixteen year old girl whose father passed away when she was only twelve. The daughter of an on-call neurosurgeon. The poster kid for lonely.

Oliver Pierce, seventeen year old sports star. Being the quarterback of the football team, pitcher for the baseball team, star basketball player, and on top of all that he has to keep his grades up to play, so you could say he's got a lot of pressure on his shoulders.

When the two fatefully meet, the stars align and everything is right. Until the next day, of course. Now faced with life decisions, new housemates, and best friend problems, things for Hayden take a turn for the worst.
