**NOTES** So this is one of my reoccurring favorite stories to work on but I never seem to work on it in a straight timeline. For so long I have travelled from the frozen Siberian tundra to the tepid Mediterranean. Over a decade I have wandered with others of various sorts. We stayed away from occupied territories and instead created our own paths through the mountains and across plains. We had our freedom in a time when freedom was rare and costly. It has been centuries since 2050 when the Night Fever took the land by siege and stole billions of lives. Whatever advancements that society had made were lost, now it was only us. In the great cities there lived millions of people who enjoyed the amenities of modern life provided off the backs of slaves. Where we roamed there was only the laws of nature. And though we travelled and lived by our own will, we longed to one day find a home of our own. A place where a family could raise their pups in safety, where the war could not follow, and where slavery would never touch us again. Our search may well have been for Narnia, but our prayers were sincere in their hope that we might find it one day. Follow Jada, an Upuna specifically a wolf shifter, through her trial and tribulation. A wolf who only knows to wander but is suddenly forced into a territory and pack.
