Chapter 1

Alyssa just finally escaped her mother's house of abusive crazy to be thrown into the world of Other's within a matter of hours. Now she has to ally with a vampire that truly lives up to legend and an old friend that she never wanted to rely on again. She has to find out how she can help and that means figuring out why these mysterious Other want her so badly. She has to do the last thing she wants to do-- Confront her mother about why she's being hunted. The one question remains : Would it be better to not know?
