Her breathing picked up and she swallowed, but she grit her teeth and allowed him to hold her shaking hands in his steady ones, eyes determinedly trained on his face as she tried to ignored the needles that suddenly raced up her arms and down her spine. The Doctor gave her hands a light squeeze, promising, "I will come back for you." He grinned encouragingly, dropping her hands and tapping her nose.
