Almost a decade after the Empire's defeat at Endor, the Jedi Knights have taken their roles as guardians under Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. The Rebel Alliance, now the New Republic, has flourished, and peace is slowly being restored across the galaxy.

However, two pupils, each from different Jedi traditions, come together and stumble upon a secret conspiracy that threatens to split the new Jedi Order in two.
