Onika is a troubled girl who doesn't like authority and is defiantly isn't afraid to stick up for herself. After her dad had her raped the previous summer her grades slip and she ditches school often. After the fifth school fight her mom sends her to Connecticut to live with her aunt where she meets Wayne, the guy who changes her around.
