Author's Note - 1

Communication has been lost with a research colony on the quarantined planet of Alium. In response, Dr. Carlo Offredi has been sent along with a team of experts and a military escort to investigate and report back to the Galactic Coalition. A mishap on atmospheric entry, however, quickly places the lives of all involved in jeopardy, and forces the crew into a battle for survival that will test their individual limits even as they confront the truth hidden on the surface of Alium.
