Roslyn Smith is a freshman at her small town's high school, Haist High. She feels that she's ordinary, but something extraordinary happens. Austin Vanden moves into town. The population of attractive boys is at an ultimate low, says Rose's best friend Lucy. When everyone sees his face, they'll wonder where they heck he came from... and he's Rose's new neighbour! Shortly after the first time she meets Austin, he is her partner for a project.
