Adrienne Locklight. Just an average girl turned vigilante turned- ah- Chaotic Neutral as I'd like to call it. I'm here to tell you the story of how The Batman died. Let me help you!" My throat was numb as I watched him walk to the exit doors. "Its better this way. Your safe here. I can't let anyone else get hurt because of MY mistakes." His eyes glow under the mask he wears. "They're not just YOUR mistakes Bats! I led them to her, I got... I got her killed! Get it through those big, pointy ears of yours! I'm getting out of this cage, whether you let me out or not. The choice is if when I get out, I hunt you down and kill you for putting me in here or you let me out and I help you take back my city." For a moment, he stops. Robins knocked out in the cell beside me, only a matter of time. "Fine. If you leave me here, I'll tell him when he wakes up. Then you'll lose both of them. Is that what you want?" A groan escaped from Robin, which of course Bruce heard. "Fine. But afterwards you let me tell him." "Good." The doors of the chamber I'm in open and I step out, cracking my neck. As we step out into the night, I fix my gloves and boots. The Batmobile slides to a stop in front of us. I look up to Bruce and grin. "Shotgun." Pouncing into the armored tank- or car- or whatever you want to call it, he looks back to me. "Seatbelt." The most dangerous man that I've ever met, just reminded me to put my seatbelt on. "Oh batsy, you never refuse to amaze me. And if things don't work out between you and birdy back there, I'll always fill out a sidekick application." I earn one of his most infamous scowls and grin covers my face as we speed off into the night. "Holy SPEED Batman!" Another scowl. "Man. Today is just not your day."
