In this first myth, Esmeralda and Megara weren't related. They never knew each other. They were strangers. They never became friends until one day. They met each other at the pond. They talk to each other and had good talks.
But then one night, Claude Frollo told Megara to stay away from Esmeralda because she was a gypsy. Megara was forbidden from her.
