Chapter One

Revenge. A simple word couldn't do so much damage or so they thought. Revenge; something that she had been trained to do nonetheless in order to restore order and defend her family's honor. The council took everything away from her; her parents, her brother, and her freedom.

There isn't any forgiveness where she is concerned. So, how is she supposed to react when she discovers her soulmate happens to be the son of her supposed enemy? How is she going to put aside her feelings of resentment for something more profound?
