Description
After the Kira case Matsuda has been left jaded. He's not as laid back or trusting as he once was, despite wanting to be able to believe in the good of people. He learned the hard way, after all, that people aren't always what you think, and bitter betrayal can come from anywhere. Some might say this more serious nature makes him a better NPA officer. His friends find they miss the old Idiot Matsuda though. Enter [L/N] [Y/N]; a rookie joining the force after being inspired by the heroic capture of Kira! Sure, she doesn't know what really happened, but to her it seems like a real super hero story! Almost like a manga! She can be shy and awkward, fumbling and foolish when nervous. Traits that remind many of a young Matsuda. Get her started on a subject she's passionate about, though (like manga and anime); and she glows as she chats your ear off. Fearing this naive rookie will be broken as he had been, Matsuda becomes critical of her. Meanwhile, his friends see a chance to heal his fractured spirit.
